is involved in recovery?
Immediately
after service, the area will be slightly swollen
and red. Applying ice to the area for a couple
hours is recommended.
The
next morning after reclining during the night,
the areas will probably be swollen and tender.
Apply ice for a couple hours again.
The
first five days require the most attention to
care with keeping the area dry, lightly coated
with ointment and no makeup usage.
After
the first week, little care is required. Complete
healing will take about six weeks while the
pigmentation matures and reaches it's final
color.
I
offer a "prep" kit for after-care
assistance, and you will receive instructions
for the "After Care" procedures that
include proper cleaning and protecting of the
area while it heals.
